Attention Seniors! Are you ready to start filling out your college applications? Indiana’s College Application Week is coming up on September 25 – 29, 2023, and many colleges and universities will be waiving their application fees during the week. Find out application information for the colleges you plan to apply to, including if they’ll be waiving their fees, by visiting LearnMoreIndiana.org. While you’re there, be sure to read through the list of things you’ll need before you start your applications. You can use this list to help you gather everything you’ll need. If you’re still figuring out what colleges may be a good fit, set up an appointment with your counselor.
The activities for the week are listed below:
Monday, September 25: Students can wear neon for the bright future ahead, and there will be college trivia in the lobby to play during lunch.
Tuesday, September 26: Broncho gear and teacher alumni day in the classroom
Wednesday, September 27 Dress for success, and student my dress up in business causal. During lunch seniors may come work on College Applications with school counselors, pick up your pass during lunch from the temporary pass table or in the guidance office in the morning. The college application meeting will be in the LGI.
Thursday, September 28: Student can post their future career or college major to with the hashtag #JHSCOLLEGEGO on Twitter. This will enter them in a drawing for candy or other prizes. During lunch seniors and juniors may come work on creating a Parchment account or signing up for the SAT with school counselors. Pick up your pass during lunch from the temporary pass table or in the Guidance office in the morning, and the meeting will be in the LGI.
